We've Broken Ground!

On Monday, June 2, Olivette Mayor Antoine joined us at the St. Louis Chapter to break ground for our new Alzheimer’s Association building.

The new building will be built directly in front of the current Alzheimer’s Association facility.

“This new building will enable us to better serve families by providing more space for care consultations and program services. With more than 66,000 people in our service area affected by AD, we will definitely be able to use the space and updated facility.  We are extremely grateful to our board of directors and David Kromm, our building owner, for this wonderful opportunity to grow and better serve the Alzheimer community,” says Chapter President Joan D’Ambrose.

Kromm, Rikimaru and Johansen, Inc, an architecture, planning and interiors firm, designed the new approximately 9,000 square foot building specifically for the St. Louis chapter.

The new building is expected to open around the first of the year.
