Know Me Through My Eyes: Enriching End of Life Dementia Care

As one approaches the end of life’s journey, daily experiences continue to affirm and celebrate life. Using the philosophy “6 Needs of People with Dementia", this conference will enlighten participants with ways to form a binding relationship between the caregiver and the person in care, even when communication seems to be limited. This understanding is essential for a peaceful, comfortable, and meaningful end-of-life experience. Our 2-day conference and the accompanying guidebook will provide thought-provoking ways to use the creative arts & complementary therapies to enrich the lives of both the one needing care and the one giving care.  This conference is a must for anyone who cares for an elder experiencing the late/end stages of dementia
