Powder Puff Football Game

The Young Committee which supports The Alzheimer's Association Houston and Southeast Chapter, was established in 2006 by a group of young professionals wanting to increase awareness and support of the Alzheimer's disease in the Houston area.

Each spring, the group hosts an annual Powder Puff football game to raise funds benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. In 2007, with kind donations of family and friends, the 60+ young men and women raised over $28,000 for the cause. In 2008, they raised over $90,000 for the cause.

This year’s event chairs were Chapter Board Member Kate Allen Stukenberg, Fashion Editor, PaperCity Magazine, Meredith Riddle, Director of Marketing and Special Events, PaperCity Magazine, Elizabeth Charpiot, Events Specialist, Bracewell & Giuliani LLP, and Dana Kantalis.
