The Alzheimer's Association-Capital of Texas Chapter is a non-profit organization that provides family support, public awareness, and community education, as well as supporting research for the prevention, cure, and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.

Our mission is to provide leadership to enhance care and support services for individuals and their families while supporting the advancement of research to eliminate Alzheimer's disease.

The Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter Board of Directors has 15 members that meet quarterly. The Board oversees the programmatic activities of the chapter, leads financial decisions and takes an active role in fundraising. Each year between January and May, the Nominating Committee seeks at least 3 new members to replace those members whose terms are expiring.
