Early Stage Memory Loss Support and Education  Group
The next class series starts on March 12th and goes for 10 weeks.
To participate, contact the Southern Region Office at 628-8656.  This is for persons with the early symptoms of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease and their partner.  The presenters are professionals from the community such as Neurologist Jon Schmidt, Lawyer Jeffery McKenna, Nursing professor Marjory Atkinson, Social Workers Chuck Atkinson and Shari Lindsey.  The class and materials are free, but you must register in advance.

Personal History Respite Project

This fun afternoon starts with lunch at the Senior Center with a suggested donation of $2.50 per person.  After lunch we will meet downstairs in Classroom 1 for the personal history project.  Bring personal photographs (3x5 or smaller) and a volunteer will be available to help you record your personal memories about the event and create a memory album page complete with your journaling.  We have purchased beautiful 6”x7” Creative Memories albums with needed materials that are yours to keep after you have completed 24 small pages.  You must register for this respite project by calling our office at (435) 628-8656.
