ABCs of Alzheimer’s and other Dementias  Cost: Free

Memory 101: Today, Yesterday, and Tomorrow OR Have you seen my keys?

At any given time, many of us have experienced a slip in recall, loss for words, a frozen stare and wonder, “am I getting old, or is this Alzheimer’s.”   If you, a family member or friend have wondered about the health of your brain and your ability to remember, there is a place to look for answers.  The Health Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Center for Alzheimer’s Care, Imaging and Research (CACIR) will present a workshop on the ABCs of Alzheimer’s and related dementias.  We will explore the signs of normal aging and the symptoms of dementia disorders.  This introduction to Alzheimer’s and other dementia related diseases class will be presented on the first and third Wednesday every month. So please join us, you’ll be in good company and at the right place to find help.
