Why I Signed the Petition

On Sept. 21, World Alzheimer's Day, Alzheimer's Breakthrough Ride culminated in our nation's capital as researchers who collectively cycled more than 4,500 miles cross-country delivered over 110,000 signatures to Congress. These riders are sending a critical message on our behalf: Alzheimer's disease can no longer be ignored. We must have additional resources for research, care and support.
But this isn't the finish line in the fight against Alzheimer's. Extend your support with these actions:
- Contribute to the cause. Make a donation that fuels additional resources for Alzheimer's care, support and research efforts.
- Advocate. We are working to enact the National Alzheimer's Project Act — to do so we must secure the strongest
support of all members of Congress. Write your member of Congress.
- Join as a Walk to End Alzheimer's™ participant. Sign up to walk in your area or sponsor a walker.

Capitol Hill is the Toughest Hill to Climb on World Alzheimer's Day This summer, Alzheimer's researchers rode cross-country in the Alzheimer's Breakthrough RideSM to collect petition signatures to make Alzheimer's disease a national priority. The ride culminated on September 21, World Alzheimer's Day, when all riders gathered in the nation's capital to deliver signatures to Congress. |
