The flags are 8-1/2 x 11, come in a variety of colors and have a space where the name of your loved one can be printed. The flags can be purchased ($5 each) for any occasion and will be flown once a year at our local Walks to End Alzheimer's. All the flags are stored by the Chapter and then, each year, they will be brought back and hung at the Walk or to again recognize those honored.
Tribute Flags Offer A New Fundraising Tool
Walkers, participants and teams can also use the tribute flags as a fundraiser. You can sell them to your supporters for $5 each and all the money raised by the flags will go toward your fundraising total. You can also create awareness for the Walk (and your fundraising efforts) by hanging the inscribed flags in your care facility, in your office, on your front porch, etc. Important Note: All inscribed flags must be returned to the Walk or Game coordinator no later than the Wednesday before the Walk so there is ample time to prepare them for the day of the event. Limit 25 flags per walker. Once you bring in the funds from those 25 flags, you are welcome to take more.If you are a walker or participant and are interested in this fundraising opportunity, please call the chapter office at 1.800.272.3900.
