WESTERN NEW YORKERS WALKED TO END ALZHEIMER'S!

Thank you to the numerous sponsors, volunteers and of course - all the walkers for making Memory Walk 2009 a tremendous success. People took to the trails, sidewalks and streets in five separate walks for one single cause - to move us towards a world without Alzheimer's disease. To date, more than $205,000 has been raised, helping your local chapter continue its valuable programs and services throughout Western New York.
The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, nationally presented by Genworth Financial, is our national signature event and brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $200 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease.
