We have many support groups, at various times and locations throughout our Western New York service area. There is no support group attendance requirement, so come only once or every single time the group meets.Caregiver support groups provide caregivers with an opportunity to share support, information and resources with each other in a confidential environment. If you have any questions regarding support groups, call us at 1.800.272.3900.

Support Group Calendar (hosted in Google)

Please be sure to contact the Alzheimer's Association, WNY Chapter at 1.800.272.3900 prior to attending your first support group because groups times and locations can change frequently.

Grief Group
Every year, we offer a special six-week Coping with the Loss of a Loved One support group. This specialized Alzheimer’s Association support group focuses on the changes that individuals experience after the death of a loved one, helps to foster positive memories and provides an atmosphere of mutual support, understanding and confidentiality. In 2013, we're planning sessions for Friday mornings, starting in February. Please call 1.800.272.3900 for more information.

If you would like be notified when the next grief group will take place, please email program.wny@alz.org or call 1.800.272.3900.
