Key Note Speaker
Karen was working as an actress, director and instructor when her Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Her life took on a new focus and meaning in combining the knowledge of her two worlds into one life work. Karen now trains workers in dementia specific long term care facilties, presents worshops and speaks to roups on aging issues an Alzheimer's disease. She is a dynamic, inventive and fun speaker.

Currently more than 500,000 individuals in our country under the age 65 are living with Alzheimer's disease, known as early-onset. As our country reaches a turning point in population, the number of individuals under the age of 65 with Alzheimer's disase will continue to increase.
This panel brings together individuals with early-onset, caregivers and physicians to discuss the complex nature of caring for a person with Alzheimer's at such a young ag and the needs for changes in care and societal beliefs.
