The Alzheimer's Association will host a series of Alzheimer's & Dementia Universities throughout our Chapter territory. Alzheimer's & Dementia University for Families and Professionals is a one-day conference offering CEUs for Physicians, Nursing, and Social Work. Alzheimer's & Dementia University: Living with Alzheimer's for Middle Stage Family Caregivers is a free conference that will not have CEUs available. Each University will have lunch will provided. Workshop topics are designed to meet the needs of both professional and family caregivers.

Alzheimer's & Dementia University for Families and Professionals CEUs
Alzheimer's & Dementia University for Families and Professionals is jointly provided by CAMC Health Education & Research Institute and co-sponsored by West Virginia Geriatric Education Center an West Virginia Area Health Education Centers.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the essentials and standards for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of CAMC Health Education and Research Institute and the Alzheimer's Association. The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Physicians - The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) (TM). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurses - The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by West Virginia Nurses Association (A0-212), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This offering has been approved for 6.5 contact hours. (P015-17-15867) Expiration date is 2 years from the course dates.
Social Workers - The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is an pproved proivder of continuing education by the West Virginia Board of Social Work Examiners. This program has been approved for a total of 6.5 hours of social work credit. Approval number #490045.
