About the Alzheimer's Association
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research.
Our mission
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Our vision
A world without Alzheimer's disease.
What we do
Today, as many as 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease.
By 2050, that number could reach 16 million.
As the prevalence of Alzheimer's continues to grow, the Alzheimer's Association will be there:
- fighting to prevent and cure this mind-robbing disease through our research and advocacy efforts
- supporting the growing needs of those affected by Alzheimer's through our quality care and support services
- raising public awareness to make Alzheimer's disease a national priority
