Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is the main international airport of the Netherlands.

RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, the venue for AAIC 2020, is located in the southern district of the city. It is approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) from the city center and 6.2 miles (10 km) from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

There are a few options to get from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, including:
The easiest to get from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to the RAI Convention Centre is to get a NS Dutch Railways Sprinter train (direction: Hilversum or Almere Oostvaarders). The journey takes about 10 minutes and runs up to 4 times hourly. Amsterdam RAI is the second stop on the trip just after Amsterdam Zuid. Check the overhead boards at Schiphol Airport station platform to ensure your train stops at Amsterdam RAI.

Licensed taxis have blue license plates. Taxis in Amsterdam are not allowed to stop anywhere in the street — it is best to go to the nearest taxi stand (“Taxistandplaats”), which will have a blue sign that says “P taxi.” A taxi from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to RAI Amsterdam will cost about €30-35.
Uber is also present in Amsterdam. An UberBlack trip from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to RAI Amsterdam will cost about €33-43.
The Netherlands is a party to the Schengen Agreement. This means that U.S. citizens may enter the Netherlands for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay. You need sufficient funds and a return airline ticket.
