Karyne Jones is president and chief executive officer of the National Caucus and Center on Black Aging, Inc. (NCBA) and NCBA Housing Management and Development Corporation based in Washington, D.C. NCBA is the oldest national organization devoted solely to providing effective leadership in making minority participation in aging services a national issue and priority.
A former elected member of the Texas House of Representatives and later, lobbyist with SBC Telecommunications, Inc., (now AT&T), Jones currently serves on the national boards of Generations United, Leading Age and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Society on Aging.
Named in 2014 by SmartCEO magazine as a top female CEO and honored by New Avenue magazine as a 2016 Influencer in Aging, Jones is focused on improving the lives of people as they age with their health, employment opportunities and affordable housing.
Jones was elected to the board of directors in 2018.
