About the Partnership

The Alzheimer's Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research, has joined forces with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA).

AKA has identified the Association as one of its philanthropic partners through July 1, 2018. Activities include AKA's participation in The Longest Day®, as well as working with Association chapters to build relationships and develop local, grassroots outreach plans to better engage African-American communities.

About the Association and Alzheimer's disease

The Alzheimer's Association's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's disease
