About us

The Alzheimer’s Association Mid South Chapter
The Alzheimer’s Association Mid South Chapter serves 116 counties in 
Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas and Virginia with offices in Nashville,
Memphis, Johnson City, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Huntsville. Since 1980, the
Chapter has provided reliable information and care consultation; created
supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research;
and influenced public policy changes. Today, the Alzheimer's Association
serves over 196,000 people in Alabama and Tennessee affected by Alzheimer’s
disease and related dementias, as well as over 717,000 caregivers.

Our mission
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to
provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of
dementia through the promotion of brain health.

A world without Alzheimer's disease.                                                             


Financial information

The Mid South Chapter is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donor-supported
organization. Programs and services are made possible through contributions from
individuals, corporations and foundations.
