An Important Update on Reason to Hope

Thank you to the wonderful supporters who have participated in Reason to Hope over the years. We enjoyed sharing our work with you and appreciate the generosity you have shown our organization. After careful consideration and in consultation with our leadership volunteers, we made the difficult decision to discontinue Reason to Hope in 2018. This will allow us to dedicate our time and energy to our signature events, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day, which raise funds and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Many of you already participate in one or both of these events — thank you! If you have not had the opportunity to participate in either event and would like to learn more, or if you would like to be involved with the Alzheimer’s Association in other ways, we’d like to hear from you. Please contact us at or 206-529-3898.

We’re eager to ensure our supporters are engaged with us in a way that’s meaningful to them. We would love to have you fill out our 2018 Alzheimer’s Association Events Survey to share your feedback about what events you’re most interested in and how you would like to be involved with our organization. Your participation in this survey is very helpful and much appreciated!

On behalf of everyone here at the Alzheimer’s Association and especially the people we serve, thank you again for your wonderful support. We are grateful to have you as part of our community.
