General Summary

The Technical Keyer will ensure the integrity of all data and related donor information that is entered into Team Approach at the National Office.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform Team Approach data entry into Batch Detail.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all business rules and data entry procedures associated with National office and Chapter revenue recording and maintenance of associated donor information.
  • Meet established production quotas and quota entry accuracy thresholds.
  • Maintain numeric filing system for batches. File and box batches for offsite storage.
  • Process return mail and update donor's information from returned mail.
  • Management and production of the daily acknowledgment file for National and National chapters
  • Adjustment entry for National and National chapters
  • Manage the documentation of $5K + donations
  • Review incoming batches from external cager (V2-V6 batch types)

Position is backup to the Data Preparation positions:

  • Analyze all assigned batches and documentation for compliance with business rules.
  • Verify all information to be entered in the system.
  • Prepare all assigned batches to assure accurate data entry.
  • Analyze all assigned batches and documentation for compliance with business rules.
  • Perform data hygiene/maintenance work for all accounts.
  • For each item in a batch perform, perform appropriate actions as needed.
  • Identify Pledge vs. Pledge Payment transactions; prepare and verify open pledges.
  • For all accounts perform data hygiene/maintenance work.
  • Identify what action needs to be taken in the keying stage.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED with previous experience; college degree preferred.
  • Data entry – 10,000 keystrokes per hour.
  • Typing – 50 wpm
  • One year work experience in data processing environment
  • Two years of experience working in a Windows environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Application such as Word, Excel and Access.
  • One-year experience working in database management system.
  • Overtime is expected during the peak volume season which runs from November through January. NOTE: During this time, paid time off must be pre-approved by the Manager of the department in no more than 1-week increments of time off.
