Northeast Colorado Regional Director

Greeley, CO

General Summary

Development and coordination of all services provided out of the Greeley/Evans office in all program areas. Community outreach, volunteer management, and administrative responsibilities are other critical functions. Regional Director will be the Colorado Chapter focal point in the community and will be responsible for public relations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver core services for the counties served by Northeast office: HELPLINE, Support Groups, Education, Care Consultation, and MedicAlert+SafeReturn
  • Responsible for volunteer recruitment, training and coordination for Helpline, Speakers Bureau, Support Group facilitation, and office administrative support
  • Provide support to Walk to End Alzheimer's Coordinator
  • Represent Alzheimer's Association in local workplace giving campaigns Prepare and submit annual budget
  • Supervise student interns who work in programs and services
  • Strategize rural outreach and service delivery in conjunction with strategic goals
  • Coordinate area outreach to Latino and other underserved populations
  • Conduct outreach to Law Enforcement and other Mandatory Reporters
  • Outreach and follow up with area health care providers
  • Prepare and submit quarterly area program calendar, and maintain support group updates
  • Compile and maintain monthly program statistics
  • Utilize Core Service Quality Evaluation Initiative survey tools according to annual schedule Collect program sign in sheets and submit for File Transfer Protocol
  • Other duties as requested
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related human service field with management experience
  • Experience working with Alzheimer's or other chronic disease caregivers, counseling, facilitating groups, training programs for community and professionals, comfortable with public speaking.
  • Strong public relations and organizational skills are essential.
  • Some weekend and evening work required, with scheduled travel within Northeast Colorado.
