General Summary

We are looking for someone to assist in the Operations department's estate and trust area, mainly with data entry of estate and trust gift information. This position will give in-depth knowledge of two CRM/donor database systems, data reporting, estates and trusts, and provide experience working with a nationwide nonprofit organization. Candidates must be detail oriented, self-motivated and technology savvy. There is the potential for other special projects for the legal department as well.

This internship will be located in Chicago, IL and the duration is 2-3 months.

This is not a summer internship.

Only local candidates will be considered.

  • Interpreting and comprehending collected donor information and translating into new donor database system
  • Analyzing donor data information for completeness¬†
  • Working closely with the legal department staff to ensure inclusive transfer of estate and trust gift interactions¬†

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Enrolled in higher education institution¬†
  • Prior office experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products with Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Prior experience with Team Approach, Personify, and/or other database system preferred
  • Flexible schedule but must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, in blocks of time no less than 3 hours.
