Associate Director, Constituent Events Partnerships

Remote/US Home-based

General Summary

The Associate Director is responsible for account management of Walk to End Alzheimer's National Teams and The Longest Day Global Teams including on-boarding, fulfillment, trainings, reporting and ensuring the companies and organizations achieve their goals.  Candidate must possess outstanding project management, sales, writing and relationship building skills. Strong client interactions is required for both signature events.

This position is a remote (home office) based position and travel is up to 30%.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage communication and fulfillment for Walk National Team Program and The Longest Day Global Teams with Chapters and Clients.
    • Demonstrated experience in account fulfillment and achieving goals to support the Walk to End Alzheimer's National Team program and The Longest Day Global Team program to include on-boarding of new partners, reporting, training and development of tools and resources.
  • Track and monitor company and organization success and metrics
  • Manage communications and support to the companies and organizations
  • Organize information into a productive and actionable format
  • Work with various department members to coordinate the approach and execution of national account strategy. 
  • Assist in the enhancement of the image and reputation of the Alzheimer's Association as a premier, high quality, international association.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or Business Administration or a related field
  • 5 years successful experience in sales, account management or project management
  • Experience in customer service and working as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Account management and project management experience
  • Demonstrated data analytics and prospecting experience.
  • Demonstrated training success and account management experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and creative skills.
  • Superior written and verbal skills and experience with collateral development
  • Professional image with strong presentation skills.
  •  Ability to bend, lift, transport and carry a variety of print and other materials (up to 25 pounds)
  • Travel up to 30%
