Guidelines for the Media

Media inquiries: 805.892.4259, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All news media representatives (whether by email, on the telephone or in person) should identify themselves and the organization they represent.

Inquiries for interviews, information or other media needs (hi-res photos, b-roll footage, other images or statistics and background information), should be made by contacting Mitchel Sloan. He will also help you contact physician, family or other Chapter spokespeople.

About the Chapter

The Alzheimer’s Association California Central Chapter covers Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Kern counties, with offices in Santa Barbara (headquarters), Santa Maria, Thousand Oaks, San Luis Obispo and Bakersfield. We offer a 24-hour Helpline 800.272.3900 for families in crisis, and free support and education programs specifically targeted to families and professionals caring for those with Alzheimer's or other dementia.
