Bereavement Support Group

Grieving for a loved one with dementia often begins long before the person passes away. It's a unique mourning process that not everyone has experienced or understands.

Many people have complex feelings of guilt, relief, shock, numbness, anger or resentment. All of these feelings are normal and can be discussed with other members of your community who are facing similar challenges in the safe space created in an Alzheimer's Association support group.

2nd Tuesday | 7 - 8pm

Caregiver Support Groups

The best thing a caregiver can do for their loved one is stay healthy - physically and emotionally. The best way to do that is to build a support system with people who understand. Our Support Groups offer a safe space for caregivers to share their experiences, struggles and successes with other caregivers. Each group is facilitated by a trained volunteer - many of whom are former caregivers themselves.

Our Support Groups are open to all nonprofessional caregivers of people with any form of dementia. We also offer specialty groups for those caring for a spouse, parent or a person with younger-onset dementia.

Early Stage Support Groups

Being diagnosed with dementia can be overwhelming and many feel that they are facing the disease alone. Our Early Stage Support Groups are here to help those with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), early stage Alzheimer's disease or mild dementia and their care partners connect with others who are facing similar challenges.

Pre-screening is required before being enrolled in these groups. Contact us for more information:
