We offer peer- and professionally-led support groups for caregivers and others living with Alzheimer's disease. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals. We also offer specialized groups for spousal/partner caregivers and caregivers at different stages of the disease.
Caregiver support groups are designed to provide emotional, educational and social support to caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. They help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems while encouraging caregivers to maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health. Specialized caregiver support groups examine these topics with a specific focus on the caregiver's relationship or stage of the disease.
