Who we are
The Alzheimer’s Association Central Ohio Chapter serves those Ohioans living in 19 counties across Central Ohio: Marion, Morrow, Union, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Fayette, Pickaway, Fairfield, Hocking, Athens, Meigs, Perry, Morgan, Washington, Muskingum, Noble and Monroe.
We are committed to meeting the needs of people affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia by providing free care consultations, support groups and educational resources, while advancing crucial research and public policy initiatives.
The Central Ohio Chapter is supported in part by the Ohio Department of Aging, Franklin County Office on Aging, Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, Franklin County Senior Options, Council for Older Adults of Delaware and Union County Seniors Services. Funding for our programs and services is achieved through individual, foundation and corporate support as well as fundraising events.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides care and support
The Alzheimer’s Association provides services to Central Ohio community. Our support groups are led by staff and volunteers and are offered regularly. Our education programs for the general public, both online and in person, feature information on topics such as diagnosis, warning signs, communication, living with Alzheimer’s disease and caregiving techniques. Advocating for those who can't
The Alzheimer’s Association advocates for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s. The Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy, making sure the need for Alzheimer’s care, education and research is heard at every level of government, including Columbus, Ohio. As the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, the Association is committed to accelerating the global progress toward methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
Financial Information
The Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 nonprofit, donor-supported organization. Programs and services are made possible through contributions from individuals, corporations and fundations. The chapter uses more than 75 percent of our funds raised for programs, services and research efforts.
