COLUMBUS, OH - Nearly 5,000 people came together at for the 2019 Columbus Walk to End Alzheimer's. "It's been incredible to see the growth and support of our community over the past five years" says Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter executive director and CEO, Vince McGrail. While it was a difficult decision to move locations, it was a decision set into motion by this amazing community and it's a decision we are all really excited to share with our participants."

The 2020 Walk to End Alzheimer's will be held on Sunday, Sept. 27 downtown at the Columbus Commons. With it's beautiful scenic views of Downtown and six-acres of beautiful green grass, it became a natural fit for the new location of the Columbus Walk to End Alzheimer's. "I think people will really feel the impact of our numbers standing together, side by side, in the park." Asha Abid, director of the Columbus Walk to End Alzheimer's shares. It's important we provide a location that provides the best experiences for all those who partipate. When we toured the Commons, we knew we had found the location for the next chapter of our event."

You can learn more about the Columbus Commons at columbuscommons.org. and sign up to particpate in this year's walk at act.alz.org/columbusohio.
