Employee giving campaign season is underway and many public sector campaigns, including the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), have kicked off. There are many ways to promote your charity to your donors during this time:

  1. Make sure to post your 5-digit CFC Code on your website. Let federal donors know they can use that number no matter where they are located in the world. It is critical that donors know the code is only good in Federal campaigns. Most public sector campaigns use codes, and they will be distinct to that particular campaign.
  2. Tell your donors that you participate in campaigns throughout the country with your local Community Health Charities Affiliate. Remind them that they can always find you under the Community Health Charities listing, regardless of the campaign.
  3. Finally, include the Community Health Charities Member seal on your website. It’s a good way to constantly remind donors that you are member. Remember, Community Health Charities also participates in private sector campaigns with large organizations such as American Express and JP Morgan Chase in addition to participating in the public sector.
