Thank you to the many people who have contributed their thoughts and memories of loved ones over the years to the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado Tribute Wall. In 2017, we are transitioning from this informal bulletin board format to the Colorado Chapter’s new Promise Garden Tribute Wall, which has been introduced for the 2016 Denver Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Images from the new Promise Garden Tribute Wall, which are broadcast to the 10,000+ walkers in Denver via Jumbotron screen, will also be posted for the year following the Walk on the Chapter’s website. For details on how to commemorate a loved one on the Promise Garden Tribute Wall, click here. Proceeds from the Tribute Wall go to support Alzheimer’s Association educational programs and services in Colorado, as well as national research efforts to find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
Those who had submitted information and photos for the original Alzheimer’s Association Tribute Wall are being added to the new Promise Garden Tribute Wall, and will remain there through August of 2017, when we will begin a new cycle of promotion for the 2017 Denver Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Thank you for your support of the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado and the services we provide to the Colorado Alzheimer’s community.
