Reason to Hope

The goals of the statewide Reason to Hope events are:

  1. to raise funds for programs and services critical to the individual and families in our state living with Alzheimer’s disease;
  2. to raise awareness of the Alzheimer’s Association across the state;
  3. to identify new prospects and convert them into life-long donors; and
  4. to strengthen and build upon existing relationships with our current donors and bring them even closer to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Longest Day

The Longest Day is a sunrise-to-sunset team event honoring the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer’s disease. Teams complete approximately 16 hours of activity to raise awareness and funs for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Run a half-marathon, organize a basketball tournament, plan a day of painting, or play an all-day game of cards. Anything you do will make an impact in the fight.

Walk to End Alzheimer's

Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. When you participate in an Alzheimer's WALK, you and your team join other frontline champions in the growing movement to end Alzheimer’s. The Young Professionals Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado (YPAAC) Events

YPAAC was established in 2006 to work in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado to raise awareness among local young professionals.  In addition to networking happy hours, YPAAC holds two events annually. Every spring YPAAC selects an assisted living facility in the Denver Metro area and spends time “sprucing up” the gardens. In June, YPAAC hosts the Blondes vs Brunettes flag football game in Denver. The game is based on the age old rivalry of blondes versus brunettes, and sponsors and coaches as well as players raise money for the cause. All proceeds benefit the Association.
