Two senior executives from the Colorado business community have been elected to the board of directors for the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Frank Clepper, president of Colorado and Kansas Medicaid Markets for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Mark Thompson, vice president of Sales and Provider/Client Experience at Delta Dental of Colorado, have joined the 17-person board that oversees the Colorado Chapter, which was founded 40 years ago in 1980.

“We are very excited to add these two leaders from the Colorado business community to our board,” said Amelia Schafer, executive director of the Colorado Chapter. “We have an exceptional board, and adding Mark Thompson and Frank Clepper makes our team even stronger.”

Clepper and Thompson join a board that includes 15 holdover members:
  • Chair: Tom O’Donnell, Holland & Hart
  • Vice chair: Kristen Beatty, marketing and business development executive with Hitachi Data Systems
  • Vice chair: Bill Johnson, owner, WC Johnson, LLC
  • Secretary: J. Ryann Peyton, director, Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program (CAMP)
  • Member at-large: Teresa Gregg, managing director, KPMG, LLP 
  • Member at-large: Julie Wham, community volunteer 
  • Chuck Bautista, managing director, Centennial State Financial
  • Beth Bowlen Wallace, attorney
  • Lana Currance, healthcare executive
  • Tim Glennie, founder and managing partner of BridgeView IT
  • Brian Gonzales, clinical assistant professor, University of Denver
  • Lotta Granholm-Bentley of the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging at Denver University
  • Micah Johnston, manager, Deloitte Consulting
  • Russell (Russ) Luna, president, of financial services firm Luna Wealth Management
  • John Tredennick, founder of Merlin Digital Magic
