The Alzheimer's Association - Central and Western Kansas Chapter has named Tim O'Sullivan as the new Community Leadership Board Chair. Tim is a senior partner with Foulston Siefkin LLP, practicing in estate planning and elder law, and has also served as an adjunct professor in estate planning and taxation at Washburn University School of Law for over 25 years.

He has served on the Board since 2018, been involved as a Champion Fundraiser through Walk to End Alzheimer’s, supported the Memory Gala, and has presented on estate planning issues related to Alzheimer’s and other dementias both as part of the Association’s local activities and the Kansas Alzheimer's & Dementia Conference (the largest conference on dementia in the Midwest). His long interest in Alzheimer’s specifically, and dementias in general, is due to his collegiate educational emphasis in psychology and the sciences, his decades of practice in estate planning and elder law, and most personally in having had a grandparent succumb due to this awful disease.

"I personally share the Alzheimer's Association's goals of assisting those afflicted with the disease in dealing with the disability, as well as family members who are thereby severely impacted personally and financially. I want to continue to be part of ameliorating its import through helping channel the Board’s ongoing efforts to educate and inform the local and regional public in dealing with the disease, as well as assisting in raising funds for research which will hopefully lead toward its elimination," says O'Sullivan.
