Everyone can help in the fight to end Alzheimer's. Join the cause by staying informed and getting involved. Below you'll find the many ways you can get involved and make a difference in your community!

Share Your Story

Help our community increase awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementia by sharing your story! Your experiences can let people facing the challenges of Alzheimer’s and dementia know they are not alone and encourage those families  to reach out for help and support. Your story also can inspire others to get involved in the fight for first survivor.

Only by raising awareness can we secure the resources and funds this disease deserves. Click here to tell us how Alzheimer's has impacted your life. Thank you!

Become a Volunteer

The Alzheimer's Association relies on dedicated volunteers to achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. We seek committed, passionate volunteers to educate the public, lead support groups and provide social engagement to those living with early-stage Alzheimer's in all communities.

Advocacy

Alzheimer's disease is one of the most critical public health issues in America. This is why we are unrelentingly advocating for public policies that increase critical research funding and support all those affected. Now is the time to join us. Help persuade policymakers to make Alzheimer's a national priority. Join our advocacy team today!

Walk to End Alzheimer's

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

We're moving forward with plans to host Walk to End Alzheimer's® in person this fall. The health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers remain our top priorities as we make decisions about event details in your community, and we'll continue to offer options to participate online and in your neighborhood.

The Longest Day

The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
