The Delaware Valley Chapter Young Professionals Committee (DVYPC) is dedicated to increasing awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and raising funds to meet the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter.
The purpose of the DVYPC is to recruit young professionals through events, support advocacy and education- to raise funds for and become advocates for the cause.

WHAT WE DO
As a committee, our goal is to raise funds, awareness, and
network with young professionals who are passionate about the
eradication of Alzheimer's disease. Annually, host events and attend social events, and fund raise for the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter.

WHY WE CARE
Every 66 seconds someone in America develops Alzheimer’s disease. The Delaware Valley Chapter provides education and support for families living in Delaware, New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania who are struggling with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder.
Through the DVYPC, our hope is to connect young individuals with the disease so we can ultimately reach the goal of the world without Alzheimer's.
It is projected that by midcentury, 16 million Americans could have Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. This will cause an even greater increase in the number of families and caregivers who are searching for information, support, and training.
