The Judy Fund sends you holiday greetings!
Members of The Judy Fund National Walk Team had a great time for a great cause at the Westside Walk to End Alzheimer's in Santa Monica, CA.
Dear Family and Friends,

The holidays are a time of joy and reflection. In these final days of 2017, I have been truly moved by the generosity of those that contributed to the success of The Judy Fund's first National Walk Team for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Our first-ever National Walk Team painted the map purple! Twenty-seven teams representing The Judy Fund walked in 25 cities across 16 states. Wow!
The Judy Fund National Walk Team takes a big first step.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication shown by friends of The Judy Fund nationwide, especially the brotherhood of Sigma Alpha Mu, we came together in 25 cities across the country as one national team. And we exceeded our goal to raise $50,000 for the world's largest event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease care, support and research.

As I write you, The Judy Fund Walk team has brought in $56,419 (and counting) with $22,891 of the total raised by SAM teams. The character, commitment and generosity of our Sammys remind us once again of all the good being done by this beloved organization and its members. And the fundraising isn't over yet! All teams can continue to accept donations through December 31, 2017! If you'd like to make a gift to one of our teams, you can find them all listed here.
Thank you to everyone who participated on The Judy Fund National Walk Team across the country!
Congratulations to the Sigma Alpha Mu No Shave November fundraising winners.
It has been quite a busy few months for the men of Sigma Alpha Mu. In addition to many participating in The Judy Fund Walk team, the Sammys held another very successful No Shave November with a goal of $30,000 to benefit The Judy Fund. While everyone made an impact, Beta Iota chapter at University of Wisconsin – Madison was the top fundraising Team, followed by Beta Chapter's Team at Cornell University, Epsilon Xi Chapter's Team at Emory University and Sigma Theta Chapter's Team at University of Texas at Austin. Our Top Individual Fundraiser, Zachary Winakor from Beta Iota's Team, has won admission to Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen's Hilarity for Charity March 2018 Event! Joining him at this year's event is our lucky NSN Raffle Winner, Rajeev Nunna, from Mu Eta Chapter's Team at Drexel University. The Judy Fund looks forward to welcoming representatives of the winning chapter as our guests at this year's Alzheimer's Association Advocacy Forum, this summer.
Congratulations to the top fundraising team for No Shave November: Beta Iota Chapter at University of Wisconsin – Madison!
As the end of 2017 quickly approaches, please take a moment to include The Judy Fund in your year-end giving. Earlier this year, the Gelfand family gave a leadership gift of $500,000 through The Judy Fund to advance the Alzheimer's Association Women's Alzheimer's Research Initiative (WARI), which funds gender-specific research focused on women's brains and Alzheimer's. Please take this opportunity before 2017 ends to make a tax-deductible donation and help us meet our new goal to raise a total of $10 million for Alzheimer's research and advocacy in the fight against this terrible disease.

Warm wishes to you and yours this holiday season!

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Gelfand Stearns Elizabeth Gelfand Stearns
