Dear Family and Friends,
In July, when I accept the 2023 Jerome H. Stone Philanthropy Award for Alzheimer's Research on behalf of The Judy Fund at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2023 (AAIC) in Amsterdam, I'll be thinking about my father, Marshall Gelfand. I know how honored he would have been to share this incredible achievement with every supporter of The Judy Fund. He'd be especially proud because the award is named for his friend and philanthropic mentor Jerry Stone, founding president of the Alzheimer's Association.
What a fitting tribute to Marshall it would be for me to announce on a world stage that the community he established has raised $10 million for the Alzheimer's cause.
