JacksonWhite, P.C. offers a full range of legal services to assist individuals, families and businesses in achieving success in a wide range of legal matters. Founded in 1983, the firm has grown steadily to include a full complement of highly experienced attorneys and staff working in the areas of Elder Law, ALTCS/Medicaid Planning, Probate, Estate Planning, Bankruptcy, Criminal Law, HOA Law, Real Estate Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment and Labor Law, Family Law, Insurance Related Disputes, Personal Injury Law and Tax Law.

As a firm, JacksonWhite has built a strong reputation for providing responsive, effective and dedicated services, personalized to meet the client’s individual, family or business needs. In addition to serving their clients, the firm puts a strong emphasis on community involvement and giving back to organizations that do so much for Arizona.

“JacksonWhite is a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest Chapter,” said Richard White, managing partner and ALTCS/Medicaid planning attorney at JacksonWhite. “We visit with families every day, particularly in my legal practice area, so devastated by the terrible affects Alzheimer’s has had on someone close to them.  It’s important to me that our law firm do everything we can to give back to an organization that does so much good in advancing research and enhancing care for these families.”

In 2010, JacksonWhite partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest Chapter and the Arizona Alzheimer’s Disease Consortium to create a free resource guide entitled, Alzheimer’s & the Law: Protecting Yourself and Your Family. The JacksonWhite Elder Law and ALTCS/Medicaid Planning department worked with other local health care businesses to secure sponsorships of the guide, giving all proceeds directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.

“The new resource guide was a way for us to get valuable information into the hands of those effected with Alzheimer’s, their caregivers and families, but it was also about finding a creative way to bring the health care community together to give back to the Alzheimer’s Association,” said White. “The public gets a free, valuable resource guide, aimed at helping navigate the long-term care system while the Association gets valuable funds to support their worthwhile events and programs. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

In addition to the new resource guide, JacksonWhite attorneys and staff serve on various committees and boards at the Alzheimer’s Association, giving their time to ensure the success of the Association’s events and educational programs.

“JacksonWhite has always been a big proponent of education, especially in the legal field where correct information is so hard to come by,” said White. “What a great resource the Alzheimer’s Association is for those affected with the disease. Everyone in Arizona should know about the education they provide.”
