The Sierra Vista Regional Health Center (SVRHC) is more than just a hospital, the organization plays a vital role throughout the Sierra Vista community.

The goal of SVRHC is to provide patients and their families with the necessary tools and resources to live a healthy life through education, resources, and interactions with healthcare professionals. The Wellness Depot, located in the Mall at Sierra Vista, is a vital part of reaching this goal. This auxiliary location provides wellness programs, support groups, and educational classes on every aspect of health, including living with Alzheimer's disease.

Furthermore, SVRHC has directly supported the Alzheimer's Association for many years. They have sponsored and participated in the Sierra Vista Walk to End Alzheimer's for the past four years and many SVRHC employees have donated their time and resources to the fight to end Alzheimer's. Dr. Dean French, the CEO of SVRHC, was the emcee at this year's Walk. Dee Parks, Community Benefit Coordinator at SVRHC dedicates her time to being a member of our Walk committee.

Parks explained that SVRHC supports the Alzheimer's Association because "the Alzheimer's Association is an important community partner for the Sierra Vista area. We are proud to collaborate on so many levels."
