RivALZ football

RivALZ is an organized female flag football game where two teams of women compete to inspire fundraising, awareness and action in the fight against Alzheimer's. This event brings the passion and spirit of young community leaders together to tackle an important public health issue that affects people of all ages.

This unique fundraising event is open to all women over the age of 18, regardless of athletic ability. All players are encouraged to raise $250 and attend the pre-game practices and scrimmage. Game day will be April 29, 2017 with an 11 a.m. kickoff at West High School in Iowa City.

This year, there is a registration fee. Please see below for more information. Men are also encouraged to participate either as cheerleaders or superfans. Game tickets will be sold for a $15+ donation. It should be a fun and competitive event for everyone involved, so you will not want to miss out!

RivALZ Iowa City is excited to announce our new partnership with RedZone Football Academy and Tyler Blum. RedZone is our 2017 football season presenting sponsor and Blum will be coaching our players!

If you are interested in getting involved as a player, cheerleader, superfan or volunteer please visit the RivALZ official website or email Alison Winn at for more information.
