Accelerating Research

The national Alzheimer's Association funds $78 million for 350 active projects in 21 countries with more than 1,000 scientists. We are the third largest funder of Alzheimer's disease research in the world.

The Georgia Chapter is committed to helping find a cure for Alzheimer's disease by 2025. Between 2013 and 2014, the chapter more than doubled its funds raised for research, and since 2011 has given $100,000 to local researchers. Going forward, the Georgia Chapter's efforts will only increase.

Join us for AAIC 2017, where international investigators, clinicians and care providers gather to share the latest study results, theories and discoveries that will help bring the world closer to breakthroughs in dementia science.
