The mission of the Alzheimer's Association is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research and to enhance care and support for individuals, families, and caregivers. Volunteers and staff at the Alzheimer's Association are actively committed to fulfilling our mission and being prepared for the years ahead.

We ask you, as a critical supporter of our mission, to ACT now and join the ACT monthly giving program. By becoming a part of this program, the Association will have the steady, reliable support necessary to advance our cause and help those already affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Here is how your different pledges could help the Alzheimer's Association:

$10 a month could help fund Caring Closet; a volunteer-run supply closet used by families affected by Alzheimer's

$25 a month could fund a scholarship for caregiver training

$75 a month could pay for the enrollment of one caregiver and the individual into MedicAlert + Alzheimer's Association Safe Return

and $200 and more a month could help further benefit Alzheimer's research.

How It Works

As an affiliate of ACT monthly giving program, members pledge to donate a regular amount on a monthly basis to support the Alzheimer's Association. Enroll online, today!

Your monthly pledge can be as little as $5 or as much as you wish. The amount you choose is completely up to you and you can adjust this amount at any time. Be sure to enroll on a day that is convenient for you; the day you sign up is the day your donation will be processed each month.

You can choose which payment method works for you: automatic credit card charge or automatic bank account debit.

Each month an automatic withdrawal will be made. At th e end of the year, a consolidated statement will be sent to you noting your yearly gifts. Your membership will automatically renew every year, and since it is paperless, you will not receive any renewal notices in the mail!

You will receive a special monthly e-mail updating you on the current events at the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter as well as confirming the charge was made.

An Investment Worth Making

As an investor in the Alzheimer's Association, you should know how your money is being spent. We are the leader in Alzheimer's research and support and we are working to give everyone a reason to hope. We must educate Georgia's caregivers on Alzheimer's disease so they may offer better care to their loved ones. Research has shown that education and support help delay nursing home placement for persons with Alzheimer's disease and help decrease caregiver stress. We must achieve a physical presence in all 159 counties throughout the state of Georgia where there are people in need of our services. Quite simply, the ACT monthly giving program provides you with the most efficient and effective way to support the Alzheimer's Association. By supporting us on a monthly basis, we can rely on consistent support and more effectively budget our dollars throughout the year.

With an automatic monthly withdrawal, you help us significantly lower our monthly administrative costs and you have the peace of mind knowing you are helping the Alzheimer's Association advance its mission every single day.

By actively donating a certain amount each month, you can help fund and support many of our different services.

Terms of Agreement: My authorization to charge my account at my bank shall be the same as if I had personally signed a check to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter. This authorization shall remain in effect until I notify my bank or the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter in writing that I wish to end this agreement and my bank or the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter has had reasonable time to act on it; or until my bank or the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter has sent me 10 days written notice that they will end this agreement. A record of each charge will be included in my regular bank statement and will serve as my receipt. In the event of an error, I have the right to instruct my bank to reverse any charge. I understand that this must be done by written notice within 15 days of the date of the bank statement or writing 45 days after the charge was made.
