David Leach’s professional experience includes being chairman and CEO of the Harbinger Corporation, an eCommerce software and solutions company with revenues of $150 million that he co-founded in 1983 and sold in 2000.  He has also served as director of operations for several companies in the motor trade, manufacturing and data processing industries and was a consultant with McKinsey from 1982 to 1983.

David has been a supporter of the chapter for many years. To reflect his generous financial support of the Georgia Chapter, the conference room in the chapter's office was named in honor of his mother, Irene, who died from Alzheimer’s disease in 1999 after having had the disease for 18 years. He and his wife Lynn are avid kayakers, divers, runners and tennis players. He has two children, Danica and Bryan.
