Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America and the Alzheimer’s Association: Partners in Progress

The Alzheimer’s Association is fortunate to be a featured national charity of the Sons of Italy Foundation®. The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America® (OSDIA) is the oldest and largest organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States.

OSDIA’s members have generously donated more than $1.6 million to accelerate the pace of discovery in Alzheimer’s disease research, and they have pledged an additional $1 million to help continue our progress toward the national goal of preventing and effectively treating Alzheimer’s by 2025.

The challenge of Alzheimer’s disease continues to grow but, thanks to partners such as OSDIA, so does our hope. We are grateful for all that OSDIA’s leadership and members are doing for our cause.

For more information or to obtain support for your volunteer efforts, please contact Alicia Dorman, the Alzheimer’s Association’s liaison to OSDIA, at aadorman@alz.org.

Thank you for supporting the Alzheimer's Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s disease care, support and research.
