Independent classical music distributor Naxos of America has joined the Alzheimer’s Association as a strategic cause marketing partner. With the goal of using their classical music catalog to help raise awareness and funds for research, care and support, Naxos has created the "Purple Classics" series.
The newly released series of 10 albums each feature approximately two hours of music from the organization’s extensive music catalog. "Purple Classics" are available online where music is sold.
For every "Purple Classics" CD purchased and album downloaded through June 23, 2017, Naxos will donate 50 cents and for every album sold on the iTunes Store and streamed on Apple Music, Naxos will donate $5.60, with a minimum donation of $25,000 to the Association.
