The Judy Fund Team at the Walk to End Alzheimer's – Santa Monica 2018.
The annual Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and money for Alzheimer’s care, support and research, and we walk to be a part of the solution.
Each year, The Judy Fund brings together people from across the country to walk for their brothers and sisters, mothers, fathers and friends and the caregivers looking after them. And each year, these walkers exceed our expectations and goals.
Our most recent Walk highlights:
- In 2017, The Judy Fund unified the numerous walk groups that supported us from across the country to form our first national team. It drew 556 participants on 27 teams in 21 cities across 16 states. The goal was to raise $50,000. Our walkers raised $56,000.
- In 2018, The Judy Fund’s national walk team grew immensely and shattered expectations once again. It drew 775 participants on 69 teams in 54 cities across 29 states. Again, the goal was to raise $50,000. Our walkers raised more than $80,000 for a total of more than $136,000 raised over the past two years alone.
In 2019, we hope to make an even bigger impact on the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Help us make that impact.
