Respite provides relief to people who are caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Time away from caregiving responsibilities is essential to the well-being of caregivers. Respite care helps to reduce stress and improve the quality of care provided by caregivers.

The Michigan Chapter has Respite Care Scholarships available* in some of our areas that may be used to cover for the cost of:

  • Adult Day Programs
