Direct Connect Rapid Referral
Rapid Referral is an easy way for healthcare professionals to link families to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter. This free service offers your patients the benefit of confidential support and information necessary to navigate the non-medical challenges inherent with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Simply complete the one-page, HIPAA compliant form and fax it to our office or make an online referral now.
The online form is secure and HIPAA compliant created through Mediprocity. Healthcare professionals can also download the Mediprocity app to your mobile device to submit referrals remotely. Prescribers (MD, PA, NP) can receive the app for free.
Once received, the Alzheimer's Association will contact the referred individual and assist with immediate needs. The Association will continue to serve the client with future needs as they arise.

Older Driver Safety & Reporting
The Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center is pleased to present a one-hour case study and training module on screening for memory impairment in older adults and the resources available in case of concern about unsafe operation of a motor vehicle.
This module is ideal for Missouri physicians, physician assistants, nurses and social workers who treat mature adult drivers who may potentially be affected by memory impairment.
The training module is offered through the collaboration of the Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center at Washington University School of Medicine, the Department of Gerontology at the University of Missouri – Saint Louis, and the Missouri Department of Veteran Affairs. Funding for this project was provided by the Missouri Department of Motor Vehicles’ State and Community Highway Safety Grant Program. This training module aims to reduce the number and severity of traffic crashes occurring on Missouri roadways and to reduce traffic fatalities and injuries with an emphasis on mature drivers.
Training is offered in one of two ways. You can choose to view the basic training video that does not grant CME credit, or you can opt to watch a version that will grant one hour of AMA Category 1™ continuing medical education credit.
