THE DAY WITH THE MOST LIGHT IS THE DAY WE FIGHT!
Presenting Party: UMB Bank
The Longest Day® is the Alzheimer's Association’s second signature fundraising event. The event is a global call-to-action to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s on the summer solstice, the day with the most light. Thousands of participants from around the world will come together on Friday, June 21, to shine a light of hope and fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s.
Now, everyone can join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in The Longest Day 2019®. Participants can select an activity, host an event or just fundraise on their own on Facebook. Each participant selects and plans his/her own activities from July to June. Once registered, participants get their own webpage and year-round access to tools, resources and coaching to support their efforts.
- Kids can host lemonade stands, collect coins or host an ice cream social.
- Families can plan a party, a game night or a hike.
- Groups can plan a fun outing, bake sale or a fitness competition.
Get creative, and share your passion for the cause in a variety of ways throughout the year. Then, join us on June 21, as thousands worldwide unite in-force to fight Alzheimer’s! Together we will shine a light of hope by raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association care and support, advocacy and research initiatives.
Join the fight on June 21, and help light the way to Alzheimer’s first survivor!
