Your financial support of the Alzheimer's Association, Aloha Chapter is essential to our successful history here in Hawaii.  By making a contribution, you help provide direct assistance to the families of people with Alzheimer's disease here in Hawaii.

The Alzheimer’s Association, Aloha Chapter offers monthly caregiver training courses, private counseling sessions, advice on caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease and how to take care of oneself during this often stressful support.

Being the caregiver of someone with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia can be very stressful.  The Aloha Chapter, through our family caregiver training classes, monthly support groups, and private counseling sessions, seeks to reduce this stress.  Teaching ways to cope with difficult behaviors that present themselves during the disease and offering advice on how to interact with a person with dementia are the goals of most of the courses offered by the chapter.

Every Family Caregiver program is offered free of charge to residents of Hawaii and their loved ones.  We are able to offer these classes and the related materials to caregivers because of the generous support of our friends and neighbors – people like you – who make donations, donate cars, participate in Memory Walk or Moonlight & Memories.  Everyday people who support the work of the Alzheimer’s Association, Aloha Chapter.  Through their generosity, we are able to help thousands of families each year navigate this difficult path.

If you are already a donor – MAHALO for your support.  If not, thank you for your consideration of supporting the Alzheimer’s Association, Aloha Chapter
