Addressing Health Disparities: Dementia Care and the Black Experience
This program will explore the unique challenges Black individuals face when accessing dementia diagnosis, treatment, and care. With higher rates of dementia and lower access to quality care, it's crucial to address the systemic barriers that contribute to these disparities.

Caregiver Café
The bimonthly Caregiver Café offers resources and the opportunity to connect with others, share tips on managing stress, and learn about dementia and Alzheimer's. This program provided by a grant from the NYS Department of Health, OFA, CCE/Caregiver Resource Center Program and the Alzheimer's Association. The Caregiver Resource Center is a co‐partnered program between Cornell Cooperative Extension and Office for the Aging of Sullivan County and is supported by a grant from the NYS Office for the Aging’s Caregiver Program.
